On December 6, Ukraine celebrates Armed Forces Day. After the full-scale invasion of the russian federation, Armed Forces Day took on a special meaning for every Ukrainian!
The Armed Forces consist of various units, including Air Force, Navy and Ground Forces, Assault Forces, and Special Operations Forces. The latter was created in 2016 against the backdrop of russian military aggression in Donbas and Crimea.
Currently, this is the military elite of the country. The Ukrainian army is entrusted with the responsible mission of protecting the state’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, ensuring citizens’ peace.
In addition, our military has taken and continues participating in international military operations. To mark the army’s special role in the state’s life, the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is celebrated.
